Victoria is a survivor herself, having more than 100 surgeries due to the injuries she obtained at the hands of her abuser. She has more than 17 years of educating herself and countless others; she brings a light to those who've known true darkness.  Victoria has several degrees and certifications and is furthering her studies through online classes at Yale. Victoria is also a speaker and a published author and is now happily married to the love of her life, her soul mate that she was with 20+ years ago, and they have three children together.

With over 30 years at the intersection of law, mental health, and caregiving, he has become a leading force in redesigning how fractured systems respond to individuals and families in crisis.

He is the creator of the Guardian Model™, a data-driven framework proven to reduce institutional reliance across jails, emergency rooms, and inpatient systems by 51%. His work has been recognized by organizations such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and the National College of Probate Judges.

As host of Holding It Together (Kinda), Michael delivers clear, actionable insight into mental health, caregiving, and systemic reform—offering listeners not just awareness, but a way forward.

Along with a long strategic career in the Air Force and Law Enforcement spanning almost 15 years, Michael is perfect for helping our Vets and survivors feel safe and protected. Michael can also assist you with what to expect when and if you have to appear in court (however, he cannot provide any legal advice). Michael is very easy-going, patient, laid back, and trustworthy. He has assisted his wife in her recovery from being a domestic violence victim to a thriving survivor. When he is not working, he loves to spend time with his wife, Victoria, and their three kids.
